About the series
Development in motion.
VGZT is a volunteer-led global online seminar series focused on gastrulation and developmental biology.
Virtual Gastrulation Zoom Talks brings together early-career researchers, principal investigators, and the wider developmental-biology community for focused scientific conversations online.
A global room
Sessions are scheduled across several US Eastern start times so researchers in different regions can join live. The website converts every published event to each visitor’s chosen timezone.
Paired voices and keynotes
Two-speaker sessions pair a principal investigator with a student or postdoc. Keynotes give one speaker a longer presentation and discussion. Each format keeps room for questions.
An evolving community
VGZT’s visual language has evolved through many seasons of posters and organizer graphics. The reaction–diffusion pattern, stacked VGZT mark, bold keylines, and time-of-day colour system on this site continue that history in a web-native form.
